Financial media is changing--fast. Today, the way in which financial marketers communicate and transact with their audiences embodies a number of highly complex processes. And of course, doing it both effectively and efficiently is no simple feat.

Factors such as recency, measurement, lift, awareness, compliance, and ROI have all entered the media picture. And though financial ad spending now approaches the $16 billion mark (in the US alone*), every ad dollar spent is scrutinized more closely than ever.

In 2012, strategic excellence in financial media planning is a prerequisite to advertising success.

With these dynamics in mind, The Journal of Financial Advertising & Marketing (JFAM) poses the question: "So, who's doing it the best?" The JFAM Financial Media Strategy Awards honor and recognize strategic excellence in financial media planning. The 2012 award celebration takes place on February 2, 2012.

The Journal of Financial Advertising & Marketing, with the sponsorship support of Financial Times is presenting awards to "the best of the best" financial media strategists in recognition of their planning excellence.
